This was a great gift for my son's birthday. Although beware if you are an oldschool Ertl fan such as myself, this is all cheap plastic, not the die-cast Ertl is known for. The front blade is also very cheaply made and does not stay attached well.

purchased these with the timber trailer. they've held up so far but these 5 logs plus the logs that the timber trailer already comes with do not all fit on the timber trailer at the same time- minor detail. they have been stepped on quite a few times but they take shape almost immediately

Product Description

Bruder supplements its highly successful range of vehicles with the Ausa Minidumper. Mini Dumpers are usually compact machines with articulated joint steering which are capable of transporting loads of up to 4 tons across uneven and hard-to-access terrain. Thanks to their four wheel drive and articulated joint steering they are highly maneuverable and capable of keeping all of their 4 wheels on the ground at all times. This new Bruder model is just like the Dumper D 350 AHG made by the Spanish firm AUSA. Just at its real life brother, the Bruder Dumper is equipped with articulated joint steering and a tipping trough that can be rotated and has great off-road capabilities like the original. The vehicle comes with a rear coupling which allows it to be combined with numerous towed vehicles out of the Bruder product line.

Like other bruder toys ( i almost i own them all) small but crucial parts could break (excavator, dozers are the most vulnerable). They are very detailed and true to life and good scale. bruder really should change the plastic content on small attachment joints and high stress area.

Bruder toys ROCK! Never buy an Ertl again. A quality, functional toy that my grandchildren can actually have fun playing with. We have plenty of Broken Ertl toys. We're now building our collection of Bruder toys. They cost less than Ertl, work better than Ertl, stay hooked up to each other, don't break easily. Worth every penny

An excellent Land Rover Defender replica

I like this toy very very much... may be even more than my son does. This is an excellent miniature version of the iconic Land Rover Defender SUV. This is made entirely of plastic. The attention to detail is impressive. Both the driver and passenger doors open as well as the back door! The hood pops up and there is even a hood stand!! Both front wheel are connected to the steering wheel such that if you rotate the steering in any direction, the front wheels actually turn! But that is not the most amazing thing in this mini Land Rover. The best feature of this replica is the independent wheel suspension for all 4 wheels. If you drive this over a toy soldier for example, you will notice that the wheel directly over the soldier lifts slightly up to accommodate the soldier while all the other 3 wheels are still maintaining contact with the ground. This is what Land Rovers are famous for and what all the real off-road capable vehicles display. I was just amazed to find that they would put this much amount of work inside a toy at this price range. Bruder totally rocks!For the record, I do not approve of driving toy Land Rovers over toy soldiers.

My 3-year-old son loves his new truck. It is made exceptionally well...the tires are actual rubber. The back tire comes off. The stearing wheel actually moves the wheels. You can open all the doors and put little people inside. Very impressed!

It's much tougher than it looks!

We are big fans of Bruder and our 2 1/2-year-old son LOVES all things construction equipment. We bought this mini excavator for him for Christmas and now three weeks later, it's still in perfect shape, which is quite something given how rough our son is on his toys.
