Details Make it Fun

The details in this Bruder 3-piece set are very impressive. The features are so well done, it looks like a cross between a quality toy and a collectible. It was gift for my young grandson, though, and he is having a ball with it. Hood on the Jeep opens to reveal the engine, doors open, top and back seat can be removed, and the steering wheel and tires turn. Using the trailer, he creates many fun scenarios using other little vehicles he has. Very worthwhile purchase.

Joints on doors are not strong, spare wheel easily broken ... :(

If i say that the Jeep is 100% durable i will be wrong and misleading.Due to the aesthetic factor the door joints'(hinges) strength were not taken care of. It broke, after it was taken apart 5 or 6 times (in a couple of days). Its only around 2mm in thickness so breakage isquite possible. This should be improved or may be modified like the lego doors which can never be accidently broken...The spare wheel too was broken in less than 1 hr of play, it's a bad idea to fix a spare wheel with a 4mm diameter plastic stud - it must be redesigned in a better way. I dont know if it's breakable plastic or not. Hard(strong)thin ABS plastic is breakable.In my opinion, it should have had a kind of medium flexible plastic for parts like hinges, so that it will not break.The Skid Steer Loader is really fine with no weak points as such.But if you ask me whether i will recommend it, I will say 'Yes' because it looks so real and my kids (2.5 and 4.5) love it - right from spotting it in Amazon website till now. My younger son doesn't put it down, uses steering wheel etc. And he doesn't care whether the door/spare wheel is there or not :) - He was sad for a minute after it broke.I bought another one for my nephew, 6 years old for his birthday and he too loves it. Till now (3 weeks) its not broken.Hope that he will handle it better.My learning, recommendation: this is for kids who love Cars/SUVs, 6+ years and handle toys very carefully....Hope you can take an informed decision ... Thank you

Awesome Jeep and "Bobcat" set!

The detail in regards to the Bruder line of toys is unsurpassed! I especially love that it doesn't make noises, not because that can be unnerving at times, but because it opens up my son's imagination and you hear him making all kinds of construction and driving noises! I would highly recommend this!
