The shovel can be tipped and detached (it can even be adjusted to raise a bucket completely horizontal to the ground!), plus an adjustable ripper in the rear. The cabin doors open and close just like the real thing! The individually-linked plastic tracks provide an authentic look and sound, and can be fitted with the included rubber treads for use on slippery surfaces.

Perfect addition to the construction team!

We bought this track loader for our 3.5 year old son for Christmas! It's exactly what he wanted and he has learned to use all of the features quickly (the arms will lock into place). He plays with it every day and it's a great addition to his collection of Bruder and other constuction trucks!

Fun but a little tricky for 3 or under

Like the rest of his Bruder fleet of vehicles, this is a pretty durable toy. It's very realistic looking.Two problems, the plastic side doors fall off way too easily. I took them off and stored them with other toy 'small bits' better suited for when he's older. The second problem is the latching mechanism that holds up the scoop. It's a hassle to get the black tubes to release. It's much too frustrating for a small child to deal with. As a result I have to intervene every couple of minutes to get it to release. Eventually the latches broke but then the tubes kept falling off. I had to resort to some clever handiwork to gerry-rig them back in place.Otherwise it's a fine toy, one with which our boy has had many, many hours of fun.
